Endorsement of Cong. Dan Goldman

I attended a meet and greet for Congressman Dan Goldman on Sunday at the residence of Sean Sweeney. Head of The Soho Alliance and a long time ally in CARR toward the establishment of a responsible bike/micro transport culture. Dan Goldman has been a point person in the effort to bring accountabiity to the current president who is seemingly decompensating before the eyes of America and the world.Dan lead the first impeachment of the moral midget. He has a background as a prosecutor for the Southern District of New York. Pursuing facts and truth without fear or favor. Graduate of Yale and Stanford Law. He has conducted himself with vigor in as many areas as he has time and energy. An honorable pragmatist. In brief for the purposes of this blog-the OPPONENT in the primary is backed by Transportation Alternatives. Nemesis of a responsible bike culture and destroyer of quality of life and public safety. The OPPONENT is a career politician who lost in his bid to become mayor and is seeking another another pull on the public teat. Running against Dan Goldman is akin to supporting Donald Trump. Dan Goldman is not only a vigorous advocate for the district but an invaluable resource for the nation. Keeping Dan on the job is vital to retaking the majority in congress. Please support DAN GOLDMAN. VOTE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT.

Bloomberg-What's killing the e-bike Biz?

Extensive piece about the e-bike Biz.From Bloomberg Enterprises. Keep in mind that it is the tiny titan of Bloomberg who was primarily responsible for jet starting the irresponsible bike/micro transport culture by withholding enforcement by the NYPD. Nicely removing the backbone of a responsible bike culture. Undermining the NYPD and generating an environment of on going jeopardy and needless deaths, injuries and constant public safety dread. Well done Mike. ****https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-01-14/what-s-killing-off-all-the-e-bike-companies?utm_campaign=bn&utm_medium=dis

NYT on line Thurs July 25,2019: J Brown

The New York Times Your comment has been approved! Thank you for sharing your thoughts with The New York Times community. Jack Brown | New York City No effort to establish a responsible bike culture. The NYPD limited in its ability to enforce the law. Bike build out done as fast as possible. Bike infrastructure set the table for world class congestion. Congestion-not environmentally or human friendly-begat a congestion tax. Congestion cost NYC $35 billion$ in lost business in 2017. NYC missing from top 20 global biking cities. Deaths. Serious injuries. Untold # harrowing close calls for pedestrians. What's wrong with this picture? New York is better than this.
