WABC Pedro Rivera-Scooter Crime in Bronx

Pedro Rivera reports on two incidents involving scooter getaways in the Bronx. First in Mt. Eden-not the Garden of Eden- three men on a scooter shot and wounded a group of people and sped away. Next the NYPD stepped up pressure on illegal scooters and spooked a rider who sped away and crashed into a light post. Rider suffered fatal injuries. Had illegal license plates. May have been involved in the previous shooting.NYPD has confiscated 9500 scooters since Jan 1 24.
