2 girls on Citibike Hit by Truck 15 yr old dies.

Friday night 9-18-26. First Ave and 14th St. 2 teenage girls riding a Citibike were hit by a truck while turning the corner. 15 year old died. 16 year old survived at Bellevue Hospital. One of the commentors makes a handful of good points as to why it was not a good situation. Were they wearing helmets? So sad. Another needless accident that results from the years of a bike culture that has taken New York public for a ride. Transportation Alternatives clamors for corner reconstruction. Those girls didn't belong on the bike at that time of night in the first place. So sick Transportation Alternatives-Charles" the Sophist" Komanoff and Mark "Big Bucks" Gorton. So sad for the families of the girls and the community.************https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-7uuxwTFpE
