The account of a male cyclist suffering traumatic head injuries when struck by a female motorist is seriously skewed.It doesn't say if the cyclist wore a helmet.(97% of cyclist fatalities result from NO HELMET) It doesn't say why the female motorist was taken into custody-a rarity. The journalist said her information-likely gleaned from the police dept. did not specify. Further the reference to the crash map-refers to alleged motorist involved accidents. The map by neglecting cyclist/micro transport generated accidents seriously neglects a gross element of danger on the streets and sidewalks. Those encounters are rarely reported to NYPD. This is an object lesson in how "Vision Zero" is a warped vision informed by hubris and zealotry. An abject reckless disregard for public safety.The stats are alarming.
